The world championship among boys and girls U-16 | U-18 was held in Kaunas (Lithuania) on July 2-4. It was the first world championship in the history of kettlebell lifting for athletes of this age. Previously, only continental competitions were held. Over 200 athletes from 11 countries came to the competition amid continued isolation.
In the team event, the victory was won by the Russian team, in the second place - Ukraine, in the third - Lithuania.
